Lab notebook
The clip library
I save short videos about SEO, AI and building. Most of them make a claim. This is the list: what each one says, whether it held up, and a link to the original so you can judge it yourself.
What this is
A working library, not a highlight reel. Every row is a clip I actually watched and wrote up, with the useful part in one line and a verdict attached. Where a claim needed checking against a source, it got checked, and the ones worth arguing about have their own row on SEO claims, checked and tested.
Three things this page does not do. It does not host anyone’s video: the clips belong to the people who made them, so the name links to the original post and that is all. It does not list anything personal, only the work topics. And it does not pretend to be finished, which is what the backlog at the bottom is for.
A word on the names. Where I saved a clip by link, the name opens that clip’s own page here, which carries the verdict, the reasoning, the creator’s own caption and a way to watch the original. A large batch of these I saved off my phone instead, and those have no link to give. For most of them the creator’s handle is burned into the video as a watermark, so I read it off the frame and marked the row (from the watermark): a name, honestly come by, but no permalink to send you to. Where even the watermark was not legible the row says the creator is not identified, rather than me guessing. That is also why some rows are unflattering and unattributed at the same time, which is the right way round.
What the verdicts mean
- Worth your time
- There is something real in it. It may still carry a wrong number, and the note says so.
- Worth knowing, do not run it
- The tactic works and would cost you the site, or someone else’s.
- Skip it
- Bait, a plug, or a claim that falls apart against the source.

| 2026-09-13 | @jenya.kruglova | Copywriting | StoryScope: AI writing is identifiable from narrative structure alone at 93%; per-model fingerprints; one take on the humanizer skill. | Worth your time |
| 2026-09-10 | @brodyautomates (Brody, affiliate) | AI tools | Higgsfield plugin in ChatGPT on GPT-6 Astra builds games and 3D from one prompt; the plugin is real, the demos are unverified. | Worth your time |

| 2026-09-08 | @angus.sewell | Marketing | "Vibe code a $700k content army": ten AI cuts, TikTok first, agent reads retention, re-cut. Two claims corrected. | Worth your time |
| 2026-09-07 | @cooper.simson (from the watermark) | AI tools | Run two model families as one team rather than arguing about which is better, with one planning and one executing. | Worth your time |
| 2026-09-07 | @earlystartupdays (from the watermark) | Startup | How Slack avoided fighting Microsoft on Microsoft's terms. A clear read on competing with an incumbent that can give your product away free. | Worth your time |
| 2026-09-05 | @redington (from the watermark) | Web dev | Headless open-source commerce as the alternative to a hosted platform, for people who want their own stack and their own customer data. | Worth your time |
| 2026-09-05 | @Valeridoesai (from the watermark) | AI tools | Four repositories that went viral, with performance numbers attached and a comment-for-the-list ending. I could not verify the numbers, and the same creator’s earlier repo listicle credited one project to the wrong company. | Skip it |
| 2026-09-03 | @aiseo10 (AI SEO Mastery) | SEO | Webinar funnel; "Google confirmed 40%" is vendor panel data; the one keeper is "Google cannot AI-generate a plumber". | Skip it |

| 2026-08-24 | A creator whose handle was not legible | SEO | An embeddable button that lets a visitor mark your site as a preferred source in their own Google account. Real, and a per-person setting rather than a global ranking signal. | Worth your time |
| 2026-08-23 | @cooper.simson | AI tools | Partial compliance and the unlazy skill. | Worth your time |
| 2026-08-22 | @thebrendenhouse | SEO | A self-improving site loop: research agents produce a brief, a strategy agent turns it into a work order with the evidence attached, a human approves it, it deploys. The evidence gate is the part worth stealing. | Worth your time |
| 2026-08-21 | @taki.gpt | AI tools | Five agent projects, zero method, "comment community". | Skip it |
| 2026-08-18 | @edward.builds | SEO | Stop chasing high-volume top-of-funnel keywords and write short pages against purchase-intent terms, where the reader has already decided what they want and is only picking a vendor. | Worth your time |
| 2026-08-17 | @edward.builds | SEO | Fishkin's 2014 click experiments, Google's years of denying click signals mattered, and the 2024 documentation leak. Good history, and it stops well short of proving you can move rankings by manufacturing clicks. | Worth your time |
| 2026-08-16 | @edward.builds | SEO | ChatGPT cites the pages that match the searches it rewrote your prompt into, not the prompt itself. The clip shows how to read those searches in the browser network tab. | Worth your time |

| 2026-06-28 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Web design | Six things an about page can actually contain, starting with a signed founder letter and a real timeline. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-25 | @lostandlucky (from the watermark) | AI tools | On working around the context window with what is already on your machine, rather than buying another tool. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | @seymourofdevin | SEO | Turn on Claude's marketing skills, run the SEO audit against a prospect's URL, and lead the pitch with the report. The audit identifies the work; it does not do the work, which the clip glosses over. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | Harry Dry, via @davidperell | Copywriting | Two questions for any line of marketing copy: can I falsify it, and could a competitor put the same sentence on their site tomorrow? Fail either and it is filler. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | A creator whose handle was not legible | Growth | Build a directory of vendors selling to your customers, list them, then email to say they are featured. The listing is real, so the email is a notification rather than a cold pitch. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | SEO | A website that rewrites itself from live search and keyword data pulled by agents. The second clip in the library making this argument. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | AI tools | Software is still designed for a human looking at a dashboard, and agents never look at one. The most interesting argument in this batch. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | @cooper.simson (from the watermark) | AI tools | Four repositories that make Claude produce designs that do not look generated. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Startup | Win a market small enough to dominate before widening. Told through the usual Facebook and Airbnb origin stories, which are directionally right and heavily retold. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Dev tools | Animations for graphics, text and UI, exportable straight to MP4 or GIF. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-24 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Dev tools | Upload a logo and get an animated 3D version back, with adjustable materials. | Worth your time |

| 2026-06-24 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | Growth | A million dollars from low-ticket digital products with no audience. The method described is ordinary and fine; the million is the hook and nothing supports it. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-23 | @setupsai (from the watermark) | Dev tools | A library of copy-paste animated UI components, no login. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-17 | @kevinfremon | AI tools | Three prompt gates: confidence, plan review, build. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | SEO | Find dead pages on high-traffic sites in your niche, publish the replacement article yourself, then tell everyone still linking to the dead page. Ordinary broken-link building, described accurately. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @topclickmediasa (from the watermark) | SEO | Ask ChatGPT why it did not cite you and what it searched. Harmless and occasionally useful, but the answer is a model describing itself, which is not evidence of how it works. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | SEO | Have ChatGPT write a promotional article about you, pay to syndicate it, then claim you were featured in Forbes. It works and it is manufacturing credibility you did not earn. | Worth knowing, do not run it |
| 2026-06-16 | @joestoltelive (from the watermark) | SEO | Replace your whole SEO strategy with one tool in under an hour, wrapped around the claim that SEO is dying. A generated strategy is not delivery, which is the same overclaim graded on the claims page. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | @alexcollinseo (from the watermark) | SEO | Read a competitor's robots.txt and sitemap to see every URL they publish. Basic, legitimate, and the clip says so plainly. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | SEO | Get into Bing Webmaster Tools so ChatGPT can find you. Same cheap step three other clips make, and it costs nothing. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @javiniguezoficial (from the watermark) | SEO | In Spanish: OpenSEO as a self-hosted alternative to subscription SEO tools, paying only for DataForSEO usage. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | SEO | Crawl a competitor with Screaming Frog, filter to indexable 200s, sort by inlinks, and you have their most-linked pages. Standard competitive research. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @heytony.agency (from the watermark) | SEO | Sort Search Console queries by position, find the ones sitting on page two with real impressions, and add internal links to that page. Old advice, still sound. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @heytony.agency (from the watermark) | SEO | Twenty-seven minutes arguing the acronyms are mostly invented and the fundamentals already cover them. Lands close to where Google's own guide lands. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @heytony.agency (from the watermark) | SEO | Pull the heading structure from the top three results and use it as the outline for your own page. Ordinary content research, oversold as stealing. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @ariacodez (from the watermark) | SEO | The same devtools method for reading the searches ChatGPT actually runs, framed as tricking it into recommending you. The method is real; the framing is not. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | AI tools | Ask Claude to search Reddit for app ideas, then hand the winner to Claude Code to build. A prompt, not a discovery. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | AI tools | Free stock clip packs plus a scripted voiceover pipeline for faceless video. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @joshcelder (from the watermark) | AI tools | Pure engagement bait. Asks you to comment the date before it says anything, and then says very little. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | AI tools | Pull the script off someone else's viral video, rewrite it, and re-record it as your own. It works and it is lifting other people's work. | Worth knowing, do not run it |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | AI tools | A list of tool swaps ending in comment Tools for the list. No method, just a funnel. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | AI tools | An agent that connects to thousands of apps and is driven from Slack, pitched as an alternative to heavier automation setups. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | AI tools | Turn a YouTube transcript into an outline with Claude, then into slides with Gamma. A workflow, and it works. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | Growth | Cross-post and schedule a back catalogue automatically instead of posting by hand. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | Growth | Four tools named in thirty seconds, ending in a comment-for-the-list funnel. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Growth | A newsletter plug with no technique in it. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Growth | List four of your five tips and put the fifth in the comments so people loop the video hunting for it. It works on the algorithm and it wastes the viewer's time on purpose. | Worth knowing, do not run it |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | Growth | Run variations of the same ad from several accounts, AI ones included, to get distribution without an audience. That is inauthentic behaviour on every platform that has a rule about it. | Worth knowing, do not run it |
| 2026-06-16 | @bagged_up_baddie (from the watermark) | Growth | A kids-content side hustle pitch. Nothing in it transfers to a business. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | @softgirlnocode (from the watermark) | SEO | Google Merchant Center’s Business Agent is real and does answer product questions in your brand’s voice using Gemini. Two corrections: training it on your own data is a coming-soon feature, not a live one, and it answers inside its own chat surface rather than inside general Gemini answers. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @torro.io (from the watermark) | SEO | Mine question data for AI prompts as well as search. The Google figure is right, about 13.7 billion searches a day on Google’s own number. The ChatGPT figure is stale and too low: it is nearer 2.5 billion prompts a day, not one billion. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | @hegetfunds (from the watermark) | SEO | Publish every post as markdown and see hundreds of AI crawler hits within hours. Measured studies find the opposite: one test logged zero visits to .md files against 137 to the HTML, and a 300,000-domain analysis found no link between these files and AI citations. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | @commandtraffic (from the watermark) | SEO | Over 25% of Google searches are being replaced by AI search. They are not. AI platforms hold a fraction of a percent of search share. What is true, and is a different thing, is that most searches now end without a click. | Skip it |
| 2026-06-16 | @heytony.agency (from the watermark) | SEO | Search Console’s AI powered configuration, which lets you describe the report you want instead of setting filters by hand. Real, and finished rolling out worldwide in February 2026, so not the secret the clip calls it. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | SEO | The Semrush study is real: 150,000 citations across 5,000 keywords, Reddit first at 40.1%, Wikipedia 26.3%, YouTube 23.5%. It is from mid-2025 and Reddit’s share has swung hard since, so treat it as a reason to be on Reddit, not as a fixed number. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-16 | Creator not identified (from the watermark) | AI tools | There is no product called Claude for sales. There is Salesforce in Claude, a plugin from the Anthropic and Salesforce partnership with 37 sales skills, in beta since September 2026. Right thing, wrong name, and it needs Salesforce. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-10 | @neilpatel | SEO | AI Mode framing; sends you to his own AnswerThePublic. | Worth your time |
| 2026-06-03 | @claragig | SEO | Agent readiness score 21 → 70. | Worth your time |

The backlog, which is empty, and the eight that will never appear
Every work clip I had saved is now read, sorted and listed. That will not last: I keep saving them, so the honest state of this page is caught up rather than finished, and the backlog section comes back the moment it needs to.
Eight will never appear, and it is worth saying why rather than quietly dropping them. Four are duplicate copies of clips already listed. Two were filed under a work topic by mistake and are not work at all, one being relationship comedy and the other a jaw-tension health tip. Two have transcripts the machine mangled badly enough that I cannot honestly say what the clip claimed, so they go back through transcription before anyone grades them.
A whole topic came out too. Six clips were filed under ideas, and reading them back they are about religion, mortality and philosophy rather than about work. They were never going to earn a place on a business site, and I would rather say that here than have you wonder why the counts do not add up.
Where the arguing happens
This page grades clips. The claims worth settling properly, and the four live experiments running against them, are on SEO claims, checked and tested. The one with its own dated log is the Reddit interception experiment. If I have a clip wrong, tell me and I will fix the row and say what changed.
