• About 24 checks across four areas
  • On screen in about a minute, no waiting for a PDF
  • Every finding links to a plain-English explainer in the glossary
  • I follow up personally by email within one business day

No password, no access, no plugin. The audit reads the public version of your site and your public domain records. Nothing on your site changes.

What gets checked

Four areas. About 24 checks. Each one comes back as pass, warning, or fail, with a sentence saying what was actually found on your site instead of a grade you have to interpret.

Security

Whether the connection is safe and whether anything is standing in front of the site.

  • The site loads over an encrypted HTTPS connection
  • The insecure address redirects to the secure one
  • Browsers are told to use HTTPS on every return visit
  • Other websites are blocked from embedding the site in their own page
  • The standard browser protection headers are present
  • Whether the site runs on WordPress, and what that means for patching
  • Whether anything filters traffic before it reaches the server

Email

Whether someone can send email that looks like it came from your business.

  • Mail servers are published, so email sent to you has somewhere to land
  • An SPF record names who is allowed to send email as your domain
  • A DMARC policy tells mail providers what to do with forged email

Search

Whether search engines and AI assistants can read the homepage and describe it correctly.

  • Page title and search result description
  • A single clear main heading
  • The canonical address, so copies of the page do not compete
  • Whether the page is telling search engines to skip it
  • Robots file, sitemap, and llms.txt
  • Structured data describing what kind of business this is
  • A mobile viewport instruction, so phones size the page properly
  • Image descriptions on the homepage

Speed

The parts of speed that can be measured from outside, without guessing.

  • How long the server takes to start responding
  • How heavy the homepage is before images, fonts, and scripts
  • How many scripts the phone has to work through
  • Whether the site tells browsers how long they may reuse the page

Any term you do not recognise is a link. The whole plain-English glossary is on this site, free, whether you buy the audit or not.

What happens after you pay

  1. 01
    You pay $50

The form sends you to Stripe. If you have a discount code, you enter it there. Card details never touch this site.

  2. 02
    The audit runs

It starts the moment payment clears and reads your site the way a visitor and a search engine would. Nothing is installed and nothing is changed.

  3. 03
    The report appears

About a minute later the report is on screen: every check, what was actually found, and a link to a plain-English explainer for any term you do not recognise.

  4. 04
I read it and email you

Within one business day you get a personal email from me about what I would fix first and what I would ignore. That part is the real value.

The email is the point. Automated checks are cheap and everywhere. What almost nobody does is read your specific report and tell you, in one honest email, which two things matter and which twenty do not. That is the part I do myself.

Who this is for

Buy it if

  • You pay someone to look after the website and cannot tell what they check
  • You are about to hire a provider and want a baseline first
  • Leads dropped and nobody can tell you whether the site is the reason
  • You inherited a site from a previous owner, agency, or employee
  • You just want one honest opinion from someone who is not selling you a rebuild

Do not buy it if

  • Your site is not live yet, because there is nothing public to read
  • You already know what is broken and just want it fixed
  • You need a security penetration test or a legal or accessibility review
  • You want keyword research, rankings, or a competitor teardown
  • You want someone to log into your site and change things today

If the second list is you, book a 15 minute call instead and keep your $50.

What it does not include

I would rather lose the sale than have you expect something that is not in the box. This is the whole list of what the $50 audit does not do.

  • No PageSpeed or Lighthouse score, and no Core Web Vitals field data from real visitors
  • No competitor analysis, keyword research, or ranking report
  • No full accessibility audit. It checks homepage image descriptions and nothing more
  • No security penetration test, and no check of anything behind a login
  • No page-by-page crawl. The checks read your homepage and your domain records
  • No PDF. The report is a web page, and my follow-up is an email
  • No fixes. The audit tells you what is there, it does not change anything

Common questions

What do I actually get for $50?

An automated report covering about 24 checks across security, email, search, and speed. It appears on screen about a minute after you pay. Every finding links to a plain-English explainer in the glossary so you can understand it without a developer. Then I read your report myself and email you within one business day with what I would fix first.

How long does it take?

The report is usually on screen within about a minute of payment. My follow-up email arrives within one business day.

Do you need my password or logins?

No. The audit only reads the public version of your website and your public domain records. There is nothing to install, nothing to grant access to, and nothing is changed on your site. Never send anyone a password to get a website checked.

I have a discount code. Where do I put it?

On the Stripe checkout page, after you press the button on this page. There is no code field here on purpose, so there is nothing to mistype before you reach payment.

What if the audit comes back clean?

Then you have proof, in writing, that the basics are handled. That is worth knowing, especially if you pay someone else to look after the site. I will still email you and tell you honestly that there is nothing urgent to do.

Do you fix what the audit finds?

Not as part of the $50. The audit tells you what is there. If you want the fixes done, that is a separate conversation and I will tell you plainly whether it is worth paying me for or whether it is a ten minute job your current provider should do.

Fifty dollars to stop guessing.

You will know what your site is telling search engines, whether your email can be forged, whether the connection is safe, and how heavy the homepage really is. And you will have my read on it in writing.
