4x last year's new customers. In two months.
We built the first website for an independent Shaklee distributor, then answered the questions skeptical buyers ask before they buy. 8 new customers in July and August 2026, four times all of 2025, alongside the launch, and her first leads from the US.

Where she was
Virginia is an independent Shaklee distributor in Canada. She signed two new customers in all of 2025, and none from July 2025 to January 2026. Then came a short spring spike of six. She had no website.
What was actually broken
Trust, more than visibility.
Shaklee sells through independent distributors, so every buyer shows up with the same doubts. Is it legit? Is it an MLM? Is it worth the price? “Is Shaklee a pyramid scheme” is searched about 320 times a month in the US alone. A polished store page doesn’t answer any of that, and a distributor site that dodges the questions looks like it’s hiding something. A distributor who doesn’t answer them loses the buyer to whoever does.
What we built
- A first website, live May 22, 2026: her story in her own words, her photo, and a Shaklee catalogue that now runs to more than 120 product pages.
- Her Google Business Profile, verified at launch, with her reviews, phone and hours on the site.
- Pages for the places she serves: 14 Lower Mainland cities, every Canadian province and territory, and the US.
- A contact form, and a way for a buyer to send her their product list.
- A record of her 48 years with Shaklee, back to 1978: every mention in 29 issues of Shaklee Canada’s BRAVO newsletter, with the page it came from.
- A catalogue AI assistants can search and cite, so when someone asks ChatGPT or Claude about a Shaklee product, there is something accurate for it to tell them.
- In August, straight answers to the hard questions: “is Shaklee an MLM”, “is Shaklee legit” and “Shaklee reviews”, written honestly, with her name on them.
What happened
- 8 new customers in July and August 2026, against 2 in all of 2025. Every one of them placed an order. That came alongside the launch; nothing in her records says where each customer found her.
- Her first leads from the US, from Ohio, New York and Washington, and at least 5 phone calls.
- 66 clicks through to her Shaklee store, by 40 people, and 2 lead forms, from July 21 (when tracking began) to September 20.
- More search visits from the US than from Canada: 210 against 119 over six months.
- Page 1 on Google for “shaklee reviews”, “pros and cons of shaklee products” and “is shaklee a good brand”.
- Visitors from Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, the UK, Japan and New Zealand.
What made this different
The usual move is to hide the uncomfortable question. We answered it. Buyers who are skeptical of MLMs don’t trust a sales page; they trust someone who answers them straight. So we did, and the customers came alongside it.

Off Wix. Almost twice the people finding them on Google.
Childcare in this city is busting at the seams, and Sunhouse had grown on referrals alone, one family telling the next, carried by the hustle of two sisters. The one thing not pulling its weight was how they showed up online. We spent the summer building that properly. New customers grew 138%.
